Terms and Conditions
Glory Himalayan Trek and Tours Pvt. Ltd.
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Glory Himalayan Trek and Tours Pvt. Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “the Company,” “we,” or “us”) and the client (hereafter referred to as “you” or “the participant”). By booking a trip with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms:
- Booking and Payment
- A booking is confirmed upon receipt of at least 30% of a total trip cost.
- The remaining balances must be paid before the trip commences, either online or in person in Kathmandu.
- Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or cash.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation by you must be made in writing to gloryhimalayantreks@gmail.com
- Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- More than 30 days before departure: full refund minus bank/processing fees
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% of deposit refunded
- 7-14 days before departure: 30% of deposit refunded
- Less than 7 days before departure: No refund of deposit
- If the company cancels the trip (except for force majeure), you will receive a full refund.
3. Risks and Responsibilities
- Trekking and adventure activities in Nepal involve inherent risks such as altitude sickness, accidents, weather related incidents, political instability, natural disasters, etc.
- By booking with us, you acknowledge these risks and agree that the company shall not be held responsible for any unforeseen events beyond the company’s control.
- You are responsible for your own personal belongings during the trip.
4. Travel Insurance
- Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.
- Your insurance must cover high-altitude trekking, medical evacuation, accidents, illness, and trip cancellation.
5. Itinerary Changes
- The company reserves the right to modify itineraries due weather, flight delays, road conditions, political strikes, and other safety concerns.
- Efforts will always be made to keep the original plan, but flexibility is required from participants.
6. Visas and permits
- Participants are responsible for obtaining a valid Nepal entry visa.
- The company will assist in arranging trekking permits, park entry fees, federal and local government taxes, and other necessary documents.
7. Privacy policy
- Your personal information (passport details, contact info.) will only be used for booking purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
8. Governing laws
- These terms and conditions are by the laws of Nepal.
- Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal
9. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
- By booking and participating in a trip with Glory Himalayan Trek and Tours Pvt. Ltd., you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
